last year my team from college won the 'Brucie the spider animation challenge' which was set
across Scotland, where we were to create an animatic based on a story from Robert the Bruce,
about never giving up. After winning the competition we got the chance to work with an
animation company named 'Interference Pattern', where we worked with professionals to develop
our animatic into an animation. During this I was able to understand the basic pipeline of an
animation company, how to work as a team to solve problems and received great advice from
professionals in the industry including; Jonathan Mortimer, who Is a freelance storyboard
artist and gave us some good tips for composition and visual depth/ focus, we also had some
direction from the Owner of 'IP' Tom Bryant and we had Frazer Maclean drop in a few times; who
worked on titles at Disney such as 'who framed Rodger rabbit' and gave us advice on setting
the scene and telling the story.
I loved all the help and advice they gave us, and although we went in with only a few months
practice of animation and had less than a month to finish it, I feel we still managed to do a
great job.

I have 3 years of experience with; Adobe; Photoshop, After effects, Premier pro. And I've also
been using Maya 2016 for just over a year now and keep on finding new ways to do things more
efficiently and I modelled the Lamborghini Veneno as a personal challenge and I'm really happy
with how it turned out. Also for one of my 3d animations this year I am going to attempt to
develop it into VR compatible over the summer.
I am currently learning substance painter, unreal engine 4, Zbrush, Mudbox as well as
developing my knowledge with adobe and Maya programs. And when I'm not modelling from time to.
I eventually want to create something that looks so real that people would argue that it is.
